Drop Spindle Class

In this class you will learn how fun and easy it is to spin your own yarn. You will have the opportunity to see and touch various kinds of wool and fibers. In addition you will learn a little about where the the fiber originates, and deepen your understanding of how different yarns are constructed and balanced. Drop spindles are a portable and affordable way to learn the craft of spinning.  Take your fiber arts to the next level! No experience is necessary; you will leave the class with everything you need to keep spinning at home.

Materials Required:
Drop Spindle (at least 1.5 - 2oz weight)
      The 80mm Ashford Top Whorl Drop Spindle is a great choice 
Small rug or towel to place beneath the spindle
(included) 4oz of fiber for spinning

CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION
1. If you would prefer to sign-up over the phone, call HCW at 707-7396 with credit card information to secure a spot.

2. There is a $2 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge.Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.

3.Classes may be cancelled in the event of insufficient sign-ups (less than 3 students) - if we cancel a class you will be notified the week before by phone & will be given a full refund.
