Class: Cabled Cowl

Cabled Cowl Class

Three hour class

Level: Intermediate

Instructor: Chelsey Clammer

Knitted Cables create such a gorgeous and cozy fabric that we just had to teach them! In this 3-hour class, students will learn how to do basic right- and left-leaning cables while also learning how to knit in the round. The project the class will be working on is the Caledonian Magic Cowl by Sara Jayne Thomas. Students will be able to quickly begin the cowl, learn how to do cable stitches, and practice them with the instructor's help throughtout the class. The instructor will provide the pattern and instructions for binding off so the students may finish the cowl on their own.

Students should come to class already knowing how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off.

Materials needed:

DK Weight Yarn (120 yards)

US Size 6 needles (16")

If you need any help picking materials you can come 30 minutes before class.

CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION
1. If you would prefer to sign-up over the phone, call HCW at 707-7396 with credit card information to secure a spot.

2. There is a $2 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge. Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.

3.Classes may be canceled in the event of insufficient sign-ups (less than 3 students) - if we cancel a class you will be notified the week before by phone & will be given a full refund.
