Noro Uchiwa
Uchiwa is the Japanese word for "unfolding fan" however the naming of the new yarn is based less on the appearance of the fans and more on their cooling effect. The luxurious blend of cotton, viscose and silk ensure a cooling effect upon the skin, as does a fanned breeze from the leaf fan of the same name. Uchiwa knits up at a user-friendly gauge of 16-20 stitches per 4 inches on US 7-9 (4.5-5.5mm) needles. It is currently available in glorious blended multicolors, each one prettier than the next. You'll have a difficult time choosing a favorite. Each giant 200g ball contains 547 yards!
