From the Designer: When I was asked to do a Texas themed piece, I found an opportunity to dig deeper into Texas roots and stay away from the lone star, gun toting, horseback riding image most seem to conjure when they think about my beloved state. I love a cowboy just as much as the next guy or gal, but I took this opportunity to incorporate my native American/Mexican background with the color work. However, spurs might be an interesting touch... After all, Texas really is still a part of Mexico. :)
