3 Hour Knitted Ear Warmer
Instructor: Chelsey Clammer
As those holiday knitting deadlines approach, we need to take a break from bigger projects to get something quick, fun, and engaging done! Aimed for you to begin and finish a project in one class, the stylish ear warmer is a great project for knitters new to working in the round and working in color. You’ll cast on using long-tail cast on, then knit a basic rib. The instructor will help walk you through reading the pattern and figuring out the best way for you to hold the yarn to do the color work. You will also learn a stretchier bind off technique. Basic knitting skills needed for this class are: casting on, knitting, and purling.
Materials needed: Chunky weight yarn, 2 colors, 1 skein each (suggested yarn: Berocco Vintage Chunky or Malabrigo Mecha); size US 9 (16" neeldes) and US 10 (16" needles); (or at least US 10 16" needles)
