The Longest Day Knit-a-long 2023
Join us on this year's Longest Day to support the fight of Alzheimer's disease!
On Sunday, June 18th, Ann will knit from sunrise (somewhere around 5:00 am) to sunset (somewhere around 9:00 pm) Mountain Daylight Time on a project she designed specifically for this event. We're joining Ann, along with 7 other fabulous yarn shops, to turn this day into a fun knit-a-long (KAL). We want you to come along too.
Ann Budd will be zooming in with us on Sunday, June 18th from 11am - 12pm (Central Time) to help us knit her Fading Memories Cowl.
This event is free to sign up and you will receive a discount code(10% off) to use for the yarn for this project! To make it, you need just one skein of either Juniper Moon Cumulus Rainbow (worsted weight version) or you can use one skein of Illimani Sabri . We also have the kits from Emma's Yarn. For your yarn purchase , we will donate 10% of sales to Alzheimer's Association.
You will want to purchase the pattern, Fading Memories Cowl 2023, on Ravelry ahead of the zoom - https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fading-memories-cowl-2023
Each pattern purchase donates $5 to the Alzheimer's Association.
We will send you a zoom link for the Knit-a-long event
If you'd like to Knit-A-Long with Ann on the Longest Day, you can! To make this day more interactive, eight Local (online) Yarn Shops have joined in to host a virtual zoom session with Ann. You can check in, give Ann a "way to go, thumbs up" emoji and hang out for an hour of chat and encouragement. All eight sessions are free and will take place on Zoom.
