Hill Country Weavers is excited to welcome Julie Asselin and her team back to Austin, Texas!

Join us for a special evening of cocktails and conversation with Julie Asselin and designer Samantha Guerin. We will have a special trunk show to showcase Julie Asselin yarns and designs by Samantha Guerin. Learn more about the yarns and patterns directly from the creative people who bring them to life. When you see a garment or accessory in the trunk show that you like this will be a great chance to choose the perfect yarns!

Behind Julie Asselin Yarns, foremost, are Julie and Jean-François, two craftspeople driven by the need to offer original yarns that will unleash your creativity. From the conception of their yarns by perfecting the dyeing processes and promoting local and responsible production, to their vocation, which combines openness to the world and plurality they want, above all, to reach, include and bring together all fibre-art enthusiasts. A spirit of community and mutual support is of the essence.

Samantha Guerin lives and designs in a coastal New England town. Her designs feature a blend of simple textures with engaging techniques like lace, brioche, and color work. She designs with an eye towards balance, in both the finished project and the knitting process.
