Meet & Greet - MarinJa Knits

Join us for a Special Event Tuesday, September 19, from 4pm-6pm!

During this free meet & greet event we welcome Marin Jennifer Melchior (aka MarinJa Knits) and present her latest creations! She will be on hand to answer questions and help you select yarn for your next project while you view samples knit from her patterns.

Perhaps most widely known for her shawl design the Butterfly | Papillon, Marin's designs frequently incorporate short rows to create swooping organic shapes. Currently living in Vermont, she has been knitting and designing her own projects since the mid-70s. Her patterns explore knitting through different and challenging techniques; you will never be bored working through her colorwork patterns.

Join Hill Country Weavers in welcoming Marin Jennifer Melchior to the store on September 19th from 4pm-6pm only! Participation is free, but we encourage you to sign up to reserve your space at this event.

Due to the continued lower risks of Covid-19, at this time we are not currently requiring vaccination to attend classes, however, if Austin re-enters Medium or High Risk guidelines you will be asked to either present a proof of vaccination, or provide a negative covid test to attend classes/camps. Although we are not requiring proof of vaccination at this time, you may still be asked to mask during class times if you are unvaccinated to accommodate any higher risk students or teachers.
