Have you ever wanted to knit socks but thought they would be too difficult? Well, here is your chance to find out that it is totally manageable and fun!! The socks are made with worsted weight yarn which knits up faster athan traditional sock yarn. But more important, it allows you to clearly see the stitches while learning new techniques. You end up with a pair of comfy house socks!
In this class you will learn how to kit two socks simultaneously using the magic loop method. This is particularly useful in that both socks will match perfectly and as a bonus you will aboin the dreaded "second sock syndrom". The pair will be knitted from the cuff down and finished off with Kitchener stitch at the toes.
Need to be comfortable knitting in the round, increasing, and decreasing.
1 Skein of Manos del Uruguay Algeria Grande or 100 grams of worsted weight yarn.
US 5 40" circular needle
Pattern will be provided by instructor
Note: When picking colors pick a light or bright skein as it is easier to distinguish your stitches.
Please have yarn wound into two 50 gram balls
