Time for an interesting hat pattern? Have you wanted to give Fair Isle a try but were concerned about how to begin? Then the Lucerne Hat class is the one for you.
Summer is a good time to make small projects that could possibly be used as gifts during the winter holiday season! Knitting this hat is an excellent way to learn or improve your fair isle skills. This project can be made using 2, 3 or 4 colors and you will love watching the colors appear as you work towards the top.
Brooklyn Tweed Peerie or fingering weight yarn
1 skein of main color and 1-3 skeins of contrasting colors
1 US 2 and US 5 16 inch circular needles
Copy of the Lucerne Hat pattern by Jared Flood
Homework: Cast on and complete the ribbing before class.
CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION1. If you would prefer to sign-up over the phone, call HCW at 707-7396 with credit card information to secure a spot.
2. There is a $2 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge.Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.
3.Classes may be cancelled in the event of insufficient sign-ups (less than 3 students) - if we cancel a class you will be notified the week before by phone & will be given a full refund.
