The Glacier Park cowl pattern offers a great way to learn - or practice - fair isle/stranded knitting. The directions are concise and easy to follow. The result is a lovely cowl.

Knitting with two different colored strands of yarn at the same time
Glacier Park pattern
Size 3 circular 24" knitting needle
2 colors of fingering weight yarn (220-260 yards each) - sample uses Road to China Light, 2 skeins in Pewter, 1 skein in Carnelian

2. There is a $2 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge. Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.
3.Classes may be canceled in the event of insufficient sign-ups (less than 3 students) - if we cancel a class you will be notified the week before by phone & will be given a full refund.
Good class for knitters who feel comfortable with the knit and purl stitch.
Cast on 168 stitches in color A and work in 2x2 ribbing for 1.5".
