Class: Ethereal Spins - Blending Fiber for Color

Have an idea for an amazing yarn but can't find the exact roving or batt you want?  Take charge of your spinning or felting by learning to card your own batts and rolags.  In this class we will be using hand carders, blending board, and a drum carder to practice different ways to prep fiber to spin or felt from.  This class is not for processing raw wool, although you can certainly use the tools gained here to do so but is more focused on blending different fibers for texture, color, and spinning format.  You will be able to take home the fiber you blend to use as you wish.  Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early for class to purchase different rovings to use for class.  If you have fiber preparation tools at home (carders, blending boards etc.) feel free to bring them to use in class.

CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION 
1. If you would prefer to sign-up over the phone, call HCW at 707-7396 with credit card information to secure a spot.

2. There is a $2 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge. Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.

3.Classes may be canceled in the event of insufficient sign-ups (less than 3 students) - if we cancel a class you will be notified the week before by phone & will be given a full refund.
