Instructor: Kennedy Berry
Level: Beginner (a little experience)
This clever shawl is a great introduction to modular knitting! Learn to pick up stitches, cast on using a crochet hook or cable cast on, how to work short rows and tricks to keep your ends to be woven in to a minimum. We'll also talk about ways to adjust shawl size and drape and how to pick a balanced color palette.
Prerequisites: Students should be able to work the knit stitch independently. Familiarity with decrease stitches (ssk & k2tog) will give a head start but is not required.
