A knitted hat in a Fair Isle pattern is a thing of beauty, but a challenge to make. If you want a hat that explores color but is far simpler to create, try weaving a hat instead! On a rigid heddle loom, these three hat designs use two or three colors and a simple plain weave to create either a pinstripe, houndstooth or broken stripe. They are finished with a soft knitted band that hugs the head gently. Whether you need hats for adults or kids, these have got your heads covered.
