Class: Intro to Brioche

Skill Level: Intermediate Beginner
Brioche stitches create a loose, fluffy fabric that has a double thickness because of the yarn over technique. It's a wonderful fabric that's hugely popular in all kinds of knitting patterns right now - from shawls to sweaters to throws.
Come learn the basics of this clever knitting technique and whip up some thick and squishy washcloths. These fast projects make great gifts as well - bundle them with handmade soap or lotions for a great stocking stuffers.
You will learn:
Brioche knitting and purling
How to recognize a correct stitch
How to fix an incorrect stitch
Materials:
Pattern is provided with class
2 colors of Worsted weight cotton (sample uses Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Worsted)
24" Circular needles, size US 8 (5.0mm) (or size appropriate for your yarn)
Due to COVID-19 we are requiring proof of Vaccination upon coming to class.
CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION
1. If you would prefer to sign-up over the phone, call HCW at 707-7396 with credit card information to secure a spot.
2. There is a $2 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge. Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.
3.Classes may be canceled in the event of insufficient sign-ups (less than 3 students) - if we cancel a class you will be notified the week before by phone & will be given a full refund.
