Summer is technically over now (hard to believe when its almost 100 degrees out!) and we're looking forward to fall's sweater weather.

We have some great new teachers joining the HCW team this season and they are bringing with them some fantastic new classes. If you want to try Sweater knitting for the first time (or again after a long time) we have a new class series beginning in September to help you get started.

The Top-Down Sweater Workshop with Nina will take you through everything you need to know to knit a top-down sweater! There are two sessions available to fit your schedule - Session 1 will begin Saturday, Sept 27 from 1:30 - 3:30pmSession 2 begins Monday, Sept 29 from 10 - Noon.

For new knitters, or those returning from a long break we also have two Knit 101 classes beginning in October to get you into the swing of things.

Wednesday Morning K101 with Nina
October 1, 8, 15th, 11am - 1pm

Thursday Evening K101 with Latifa
October 9, 16, 23rd, 6:30 - 8:30pm

And if you're looking for a great place to get some extra support for a challenging project, learn new techniques and make friends, check out our ongoing open project classes! These groups meet once a week with a talented instructor who helps participants with difficult or new techniques, interprets patterns and fixes mistakes. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fiber person who just needs some encouragement, these classes are for you.

Class times are available to fit every schedule and we are happy to direct you to a group that will fit with your knitting or crochet goals.
