I have had so many requests for a winter version of Liesl. Meet Louisa! She is constructed seamlessly from the bottom up using short rows to form the flattering asymmetrical hemline.

  • Length at center front/back (sides hang down additional 4"): 23 (25, 26, 27, 28, 28)"

MATERIALS

SUGGESTED YARN

  • 11 (12, 13, 14, 16, 17) oz Habu N-68 Linen/Lamb (80% wool, 20% linen, 1 oz/109 yd); sample worked in color brown, or
  • 4 (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) skeins Isager Viscolin (50% viscose, 50% cotton, 50 g/202 yds) held together with 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 5) skeins Isager Alpaca 1 (100% Alpaca, 50 g/437 yds); sample is size medium knitted in color 43 (viscolin) and color 012 (Alpaca 1)

NEEDLES

  • US 7 circ needles 29–36" depending on bust size or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE

19 sts and 24 rows = 4" square in St st.
