Fun with Red, White & Blue - July 2, 2015

Celebrate Yarn Independence

This Saturday is Independence Day — the day that we celebrate freedom. We have parades and fireworks and picnics. And we sport the colors of our flag — red, white and blue.

As knitters, we can show our colors in yarn, like Lang Sol Dégradé. This 100% cotton ribbon yarn has long color repeats that make easy projects look more complicated. Try it in Martina Behm’s popular scarf pattern, Trillian. The long color repeats look terrific in this asymmetrical triangle with a narrow fishnet border. And you can knit a small one with just one ball of Sol Dégradé!

HCW will be CLOSED on Saturday July 4th,
so join us after you spike the watermelon and chill the potato salad, but before the fireworks.
