Summertime and the Living is Easy

School is out, the sun is shining, and the temperatures are rising — Summer has arrived in Central Texas. After all the dark, stormy weather this Spring, everyone is ready to enjoy the light-filled days ahead.

If you’re looking for projects that reflect easy Summer living, we have a suggestion — yarns that do the work for you. Like Noro Taiyo Sock yarn. This fingering-weight yarn is not just for socks. Its long color repeats make simple scarves like Another Day Scarf very interesting. For a different challenge, there’s the Bella Lino semi-circular shawl. This versatile shawl looks great in either a subtle colorway or one with higher contrast. And Taiyo is 50% cotton, so it will keep you looking light and cool, even on the hottest day.
