A NEW Year in Fiber - Resolutions for Knitters, Weavers and More

by Hill Country Weavers January 08, 2015

"Many people look forward to the New Year for a new start on old habits."

For a lot of us, New Year’s resolutions are way to look ahead with confidence. Setting goals and defining intent are a ritual many people look forward to. It’s a time to challenge ourselves to try new things or renew old interests or improve skills.

Last January, we shared our goal of encouraging you to try new things. We started the Knitter’s Toolbox. We suggested goals for the year. Things like trying a new fiber art or finishing a sweater or cutting a steek or making socks. And we offered prizes for participants.

When you completed a goal, you got an HCW stamp. The more stamps you collected, the more chances you have for a prize.

You can drop off your 2014 Knitter’s Toolbox cards until the end of January. In early February, we’ll announce the prize winners.

And while you’re at the store, pick up a 2015 card to help you set your goals for the new year in yarn!
